In Japan the students graduate on March 1st. They go to high school for 3 years, and so the students who graduated are the ones who were 1st year students when I arrived. It was quite sad, and everyone was crying! I also realized looking at these pictures that the crappy polyester suit I bought as an emergency suit before I came here is ill-fitting and awful. I will soon invest in a real suit, I promise.
