This place is both a Shinto Shrine and a buddist temple, dedicated to the kitsune (fox). The fox likes fried tofu, and is the god of messengers. These are the pictures Nicholas took, as my camera was lost/stolen.

My apartment
Some people haven't seen my apartment yet. These are just a few picutres, but you can get the idea. It's a good size. Probably because my predecessor at this job was able to move, and picked this place out instead of taking the one assigned. It has a good size kitchen, one tatami room (bedroom), one western living room, one toilet room, one bathroom, and one tub room. (The three parts of a "bathroom" are all separate here).

These are pictures from play rehearsal. I took a lot of video on my digi-cam, but I can only post .jpg here, so I will have to figure out what to do with them.

Me at the Kobayashi's
This is a picture taken my first night at the Kobayashi's, my first night in Mito. Mrs. Kobayashi said, "I will dress you now." Hunh?!? She put me in a yukata and took me shopping. It was sweet and kind...and yet I was the only person there in a yukata. We went to the shopping place by Gamagori with the ferris wheel. The other person is her daughter. She is very sweet!
