Pictures of Mito and The Scavenger Hunt

I took a few more spring pictures in Mito and then yesterday I went to a scavenger hunt in Nagoya. I was on a team of 4 with Kim, Tony, and a really nice Japanese guy named Hiro. We were given a long list with pictures to take or things to find. First we had to go to the 100 yen shop and buy a team costume to be wearing in the pictures. Later I'll have the actual contest shots we took, for now, I just have a few shots of the other teams.

Hamamatsu Kite Festival

Went to the kite festival today with Robin, Kerry, and Nicholas. It was just as interesting as last year.

Meiji Mura is the place old buildings go to die. They are mostly from the first era, Meiji, when foreigners were allowed in Japan. Things changed quickly. The western stuff fell into disrepair or just wasn't wanted. It got relocated to a theme park where you walk around and see old buildings. Here are a few.
