I went to Gifu on Sunday for a summer dancing festival that lasted all night but we got tired and bailed out early.

When I was home I stopped by the Globe theater replica in Iowa City. It just stands in the park and they use it in the Spring and Fall for Shakespeare, apparently. It looks great! But the sun was so hot and bright all the pictures are a bit washed out.

Oh no! My students' bad English.

It was 34 degrees celcius today. And we had to bike to a gradeschool for the 1E class to teach mini-lessons and games. One girl passed out. However, their presentations were a big hit. They speak English so naturally in front of children. If only they weren't so annoyingly shy when they are in school.

It was about 35 degrees today and the students had to stay outside all day and melt on the field. I'm surprised at how few of them passed out. I had to hang out with the exchange student from Holland. He was pretty interesting, but he was only here for a day.

The theme was "dress up" essentially. My batteries died so I didn't take many pictures.
Plus, people have been complaining that I don't have any pictures of myself, so I stole a few from tsukiori.fotopages.com (I hope she doesn't mind!)
